Editor in Chief’s high-interest stories encourage students to practice real-life editing. For each activity, students analyze a picture, picture caption, and story to determine if the story has grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, spelling, usage, capitalization, or content errors. Students edit the story errors and then correctly rewrite the story. This is an excellent tool for taking grammar exercises from the textbook into the real world using creative and critical thinking skills. Grades 6-8. |
