The inserts address many of the common misunderstandings people have with the Catholic Church and gives Biblical references to show where the beliefs come from. Also, other sources are referenced showing the source of the beliefs. This Bible is a fantastic reference for undstanding beliefs of the Catholic Church. |

| I bought two of these Bibles, one for my mother and one for my grandmother. My grandmother doesn't have a Catholic Bible and she is becoming Catholic this year, my mom is being Confirmed this year, but she doesn't have the New Catholic Bible. I bought these two because both of them claim they have a hard time reading small print and I know they have questions about Catholicism. This book really helped them understand and appreciate their religion more. My grandmother wants to read the whole Bible and she showed everyone at Church her Bible. Many people were very impressed with the Bible. My grandmother can actually read the Bible without straining her eyes as well. It's a really good Bible. |

I really like the inserts they put in this bible. It is very helpful for even a practicing catholic, that does a lot of reading and studying. The inserts give a lot of info on where to read in the bible on such subjects as tradition, holy trinity, purgatory, pray for the dead, seven sacraments, curcifixes, and Mary without sin, just to name a few.
I bought this bible first for my wife who turned Catholic a few years ago, and I enjoyed looking at it so much, I got one for myself. This bible for all of its information is not very thick, it makes it nice to cary around. The print is very readable and all NAB bibles to me are a nice translation into English. |

| I love this bible. It has several pages throughout the bible that explain some of our Catholic traditions. It is very informative. Everyone I have shown it to has bought one also. |

| This bible edition has it all! One of my fellow teachers in the Adult Education class brought this bible into class,praising it greatly.I ordered mine when I came home from Mass that very afternoon.Two other people have since ordered it.Living in the bible-belt in Georgia,there is only 1 Catholic church for our entire county.People are ALWAYS questioning us about why we do this or believe that as Catholics.This edition has all the answers.The inserts address numerous and relevant topics for today.Each topic is well discussed,showing related scripture verses and citing also the Catechism of the Catholic Church.As an extra bonus it tells all about the Mass, what it is and why we celebrate it.The commentary on the Liturgy of the Eucharist is excellent.This edition is easy to read and makes scripture study a joy. |
