 | Very Happy Aug 4, 2006 |
| I had never heard of the QUEST Bible until my Daughter come to visit me, and she had her copy of the Quest Bible. The first time I looked at the Bible I was very excited as there were things in this Bible that I Had never seen in any other Bible. After reading a couple of chapters I was convinced that this was another Bible that I had to have. I ordered one, showed it to some friends and the same story, They wanted one also, so they ordered one and we all are very happy with it. The only thing that I find fault with is the size of the print. I went on line and tried to find a Large print Bible but was told that the Large print is out of publication. Would you consider putting the Large print Bible back out. |

 | Quest Bible is GREAT! Jul 28, 2006 |
I received this Bible as a gift a few years ago and highly recommend it! There are questions and answers along the sides of the pages to assist you while reading. This has been VERY helpful to me and has actually encouraged me to continue reading.
In the past, I'd often get confused or caught up on what something meant, but the notes really help you understand things like background of the text/situation, definition of words, how the information is relevent for us today, etc.
Also, where it's applicable, answers don't seem to sway a reader towards any particular denomination, but rather explain what various Christians believe regarding certain issues and allow the reader to decide for him/herself.
The ONLY thing I would change about my Quest Bible is that it didn't come with the indentations on the sides of the pages to make it easier to locate the books. Mine (Hardcover, 2003) didn't have this, so I added in my own tabs, purchased from a Bible bookstore. Even so, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Bible! |
