Do you have a budding writer or story teller? Would you like to see the quality and beauty of your student's writing improve? This creative writing curriculum teaches your student not only how to write better sentences and paragraphs with more descriptive words, it also teaches how to write a complete story with character dialog and descriptions of scenery. Written in a scripted format that you read to teach, just like reading the part of a character in a play, this curriculum can also be taught to one student, several students of different ages in a family, or a whole co-op! In ten weeks your student will learn to write 10+ creative writing compositions. The lessons begin with writing manageable paragraphs then gradually build to a multipage story. As your student learns more, more writing is required. Beginning lessons focus on describing words (adjectives): how to use them and where to find them. Middle lessons teach about conversation in a story: how to write and punctuate. Final lessons teach about how to combine conversation, descriptions, and a story together. Throughout the text, grammar appropriate to each writing lesson is taught. Grades 4-12. |
