| I am a homeschool Mom, and just got this book. Many of the techniques presented are those that have been very successful for us, including using the times tables, skip counting songs, number families, worksheets, and wrap-ups. This book has given me additional ideas for practice and memorization of multiplication facts, and it includes gameboards too. (We made our own wrap-ups using paint stir sticks from the hardware store. Teacher supply stores carry them also, and I see them sometimes at discount chain stores.) Whether you choose to follow the 10-day lesson plan outlined in the book, spread it out over a longer period of time, or just use it as a reference for drill ideas, this book is worth owning. |

| This book does not come with the "wrap up" manipulative. These (and the book) are available from an Usborn Book distributor, or a Home School Curriculum store. They are an awesome way to learn! You should be able to search for an Usborn distributor on the internet. I just ordered the book and wrap ups from a friend, and haven't received the book yet. Looks interesting, though. |
